Hotels Near The Portland Maine Airport
Need a place to stay near the airport pre or post flight? The Embassy Suites Hotel Portland at 1050 Westbrook Street is right at the airport and is very nice. With comfortable, clean rooms, a pool, hot tub, fitness room and complimentary manager's reception with snacks and drinks, it's a good choice. There is also a restaurant on site that has very good food - my husband and I ordered room service from it and it was delicious. A full breakfast is included in the price.
The Hilton Garden Inn Portland Airport at 145 Jetport Boulevard is also located right next to the airport. It is a nice hotel with a very good restaurant, pool and nice touches like warm complimentary cookies.
There are other South Portland Maine hotels that say "airport" in the name, but they aren't located right at the airport, but usually 5-10 minutes away. They often provide free shuttles to and from the airport.
The Portland Maine airport is a great alternative to the larger Logan Airport in Boston when vacationing in Maine. Cut down your driving time and stress and start enjoying your Maine vacation that much sooner!
