Far and away one of the best aspects of Camden is the Camden Hills State Park and its Mount Battie. Whether you enjoy hiking, camping or driving to scenic vistas, you'll appreciate this 6,500 acre park for all that it offers. Open from mid-May to mid-October, there is a fee to enter ($4.50 for non-resident adults, $1.50 for non-resident seniors and $1 for children 5-11). Take a picnic lunch and either hike or drive.
