Wonderful Accommodations For Your Camden Vacation
Camden Maine hotels - If you're looking to stay in Camden at a clean, comfortable and well appointed hotel, you've got a few great ones to take a look at. When considering these top Camden hotels, keep in mind a few things. Some of the hotels are on the harbor or have harbor views and some do not. Is this important to you? It really is one of the prettiest harbors I've seen in Maine, and waking up in the morning to the sun sparkling across the water full of sail boats and windjammers would be a wonderful treat.
If you have children, you might want a hotel with a pool - I know we don't ever stay in a hotel without one so our kids can get out some energy! The mid-coast region of Maine doesn't have lots of beaches, so a pool is tops on our list of desired amenities. If that is important for you, it'll narrow your choices of nice Camden Maine hotels down quite a bit.
The hotels I cover on this page are some of the nicest that Camden has to offer for their location, rooms, cleanliness, amenities and service. I hope one of them meets your needs - enjoy your stay!
The Camden Riverhouse Hotel and Inns
The Camden Riverhouse Hotel and Inns at 11 Tannery Lane is one of the top hotels in Camden Maine that doesn't have a water view. They do, however, have a pool! At $189 to $239 per night during the summer, which includes a great deluxe continental breakfast, this hotel is a great deal for what it offers.
Of course the hotel has clean and very comfortable rooms - I wouldn't cover it if it didn't - but I really like this hotel for families. The location is good, just off Main Street, and the kids (and you) will love the little bridge where you can feed the ducks, walk across to go get ice cream, and the fire pit in the back yard where the staff sets out s'mores each night to eat by the fire.
Kids under 16 stay free with their parents here, and the hotel will happily provide cots for free if you need them. Overall, it's a reasonably priced hotel in Camden that is good for couples and families alike.
